Interwoven live sessions: Sui Zhen
Females, fashion and florals
Woodes is doing all sorts of cool things at the moment. Not only has she just released a collaborative EP, she is curating Melbourne Music Week’s Interwoven installation. Interwoven will see Melbourne’s Church of Bang Bang Boogaloo transform into an interactive space and host a huge organic sculpture created by Wona Bae.
On November 17, Interwoven will host a night of performances that will fuse female musicians, florals (because spring, duh) and fashion. Not only will the night showcase some of our best up-and-coming female talents, but it will also showcase local designers. Expect to see threads by Verner, Kloke, Kuwaii, Etal and more.
In celebration of Interwoven and female power, we have a special treat for you all. It’s a series of live performances by the Interwoven artists, so you can get a sneak preview what’s to come.
First up, the melodic harmonies of Sui Zhen.
