Melbourne Music Week has announced its full program for 2016

Huge is an understatement.

Melbourne Music Week is returning for 2016 and we can report the team BTS has well and truly outdone themselves.

The seventh instalment of the annual event will light up Melbourne from October 11-19. Held across some of the city’s most iconic venues (hello State Library), the event will see a lineup of art installations, industry events, exhibitions, workshops and, of course, live music performances.

MMW’s opening night brings a huge gig to The Hub to celebrate women in music. The likes of Julia Stone, Montaigne, Airling, Elizabeth Rose and more will come together to perform iconic songs from Australia’s music history.

The rest of the program pulls together a huge lineup – including The Jungle Giants, The Delta Riggs, Pierce Brothers, Tash Sultana, Melbourne Ska Orchestra, Allday, Northeast Party House, Zola Jesus, The Harpoons and more – across a varied series of locations including the MCG, Parliament of Victoria and the Church of Bang Bang Boogaloo.

Tickets are on sale now. You can check out the full program here.
