Safia: Internal

So much buzz.

It’s pretty rare for a band to generate so much buzz that it sells out four consecutive tours before it’s even released a debut album.

So it comes as no surprise that Safia’s latest LP is one of the most highly anticipated of the year.

Eric Dubowsky’s fingerprints are all over this one (having previously mixed for Flume and Flight Facilities), but most importantly the band has self-produced a killer debut that stays true to its directional take on electronic indie pop.

‘Embracing Me’ and ‘Close To You’ are standouts, and ‘Together, Locked Safely’ is a laid-back banger, crying out for a summer festival to set alight.
