Isadoré is the (mostly) self-produced DIY project of Melbourne singer, songwriter and producer, Isabelle Reynaud.

A familiar face in Melbourne’s live music scene, Isabelle has been saving her hard-earned pennies to fund the recording of her upcoming debut EP, Fight or Flight.

The first track, ‘Lose Control,’ is an ode to ’90s icons, Madison Avenue and Sophie Ellis-Bextor (a.k.a. the artists we all secretly love and play when no one’s around).

Aside from a nostalgic list of inspiration, the track also received production assistance from Stephen Mowat (Bliss n Eso, Pez, Seth Sentry) and mastering by Joseph Carra (Bloc Party, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard).

Set for release on August 4, inspiration for the EP came from a moment when Isadoré had to make choice between fight or flight:

“Neither choice is right or wrong – that is important to understand. You just have to do what is best for you at that moment in your life and that will free you.”
