Spotify and Ancestry have teamed up on a new personalised playlist experience, letting you match your music to your DNA.
If you’ve ever done one of Ancestry’s at-home DNA tests, you can now link the two services to receive a playlist of songs from your ancestral homelands.
The collab matches popular and significant songs from the test’s top results with your own music taste for a fun way to dive into your culture and heritage.
If you haven’t taken the test, don’t feel too left out. You can still link up your accounts to receive an Ancestry-style breakdown of your listening habits, as well as a few pre-made playlists from around the world.
