Teischa’s roundup of the best soft-pop beats for your WFH weekdays

Words by Ella Bazzani-Hockley

Ease into your WFH flow with some low-fi bops.

Working from home? Us too. Listening to your housemate bang around in the kitchen while they make their third sourdough of the week can be pretty distracting, so we asked some of our favourite artists to put together working from home playlists so we can drown out the domestic doldrums and get to work. Enjoy.

ICYMI, 23-year-old Teischa is a WA-based artist who last year played Splendour in the Grass and Primavera Barcelona, while also supporting Toro y Moi and Everything Everything. On top of that, she was also busy recording her first mixtape.

Momentary dropped last month and features soft R&B melodies and Billie Eilish-esque synths. It boasts an impressive production team, including Melbourne-based producer Lucianblomkamp and Dua Lipa’s producer, Sam Sakr. Check out the whole mixtape here.

The low-fi playlist she made for us is perfect for putting on in the background while you focus on whatever it is you’re working on; an ideal mix of low-key bops by Bon Iver, Toro y Moi, Shlohmo, Blood Orange and James Blake.
