TOME Resort ’16

TOME do easy, nonchalant dressing so damn well.

Their Resort 16 collection is inspired by Dorothy Parker and the 1920s. Dorothy was a bit of a sassy lady. Known for her wit, she wrote poems for The New Yorker before heading to Hollywood to become a screenwriter. Apparently she was at her sharpest in the ’20s.

Their deconstructed layered trench coats and robe-like wrap silhouettes are just perfection. They’ve got an interesting mix of textiles too. Cotton stripes inspired by Picasso’s Figure At The Seaside, pastel taffetas, pleated jacquard, delicate and dense lace, and wool knitwear.

Just lovely.
