Because fashion is art.

Words by

Veronica Jenkinson

LIFEwithBIRD already brought us their SS15 collection, inspired by designers Nicholas Van Messner and Bridget McCall's Italian holiday, and we loved it.

And they just keep on giving. Collaborating with Spanish mixed-media artist Rocio Montoya, they've turned fashion into art with their Abstraction series.

Montoya is best known for her ability to transform reality by manipulating the image to convey her perception of the environment through aesthetic experiences.

The collaboration is all about exploring the concept of de-constructivism by using graphic elements of the SS15 collection with photos from the Italian holiday to create five amazing artworks.

The Abstraction series has been developed exclusively for online and the pieces are available now.
