A closer look at the Jeremy Scott x MAC collaboration

Jeremy Scott MAC campaign

Coming soon.

Before the days of LimeWire and iTunes, a simpler time existed where you didn’t have to sacrifice your computer’s integrity to access great music.

In fact, you didn’t even need a computer, because your entire music library depended on what was inside your portable Walkman.

Jeremy Scott and MAC have teamed up to create an ode to this bygone era, by releasing a retro-inspired makeup collection. The drop includes three key palettes, arriving in packaging resembling a boombox, a CD and a mixtape.

Described as ‘manic colour for eyes, lips and cheeks,’ the range is everything we’d expect from a Jeremy Scott makeup release.

‘Future Emotion’ is the collection’s lip palette, featuring nine shades varying from matte nudes, to cool purples and vibrant reds.

For cheeks, you can expect the ‘Acoustica’ palette – a mix of pearly highlighter, matte bronzing powder and pink blush.

And last, the ‘LoFi’ eyeshadow palette introduces a whopping 29 shades, from metallics to lime green and a ‘white icy shimmer’.

It’s all dropping from February 8 online and at select MAC locations.
