What to Buy Wednesday: Men’s Skincare Picks

We pick out four of the best skincare products for men, because you’re worth it too.

Shopping for skincare can be a real pain, especially when the options seem endless and you can’t always try before you buy.

So whether your boyfriend needs a little help in the skincare department, or if you’re man enough to take care of your own business, we’ve rounded up some fuss-free bathroom essentials that will keep you looking fresh from AM to PM.

Aesop Parsley Seed Facial Cleanser (starting from $37.00, Aesop)

With a gel-like consistency, this cleanser lathers up nicely, glides on the skin smoothly, and once washed off, leaves you with visibly cleaner looking skin. It also smells milder than you’d expect (officially described as ‘herbaceous’), but it’s a fairly energising scent, and shouldn’t put off even the most sensitive of noses.

Lush Mask of Magnaminty ($15.95, Lush)

This mask is the perfect pick me up after a long day at work or a hard session at the gym. Use it once or twice a week, and you’ll thank us when the incredible cooling sensation kicks in. Lather it on, sit back and enjoy the minty freshness!

men-ü Matt Moisturiser ($33.95, mensbiz.com.au)

For those of you that shine bright like a diamond shortly after lunchtime, this moisturiser will change things up in no time. Its oil and fragrance-free formula will keep the shine at bay, and it’s ultra concentrated, so a little goes a long way (120 applications to be exact).

Kiehl’s Facial Fuel No-Shine Moisturizing Lip Balm ($10, Kiehl’s)

Oily T-zones aside, chapped lips can be a whole other nightmare – especially come date night. Sure there may be cheaper alternatives than this one by Kiehl’s (we also like the Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Sunscreen Stick which has SPF 15 and costs about a quarter of the price), but this is definitely worth the extra dosh when it comes to a matte application, and really sleek packaging.
