How it feels/smells/looks

Big call I know, but I think I have found the most delicious-scented, luxurious shower gel ever. In case you are unaware, Sol De Janeiro hit the beauty scene hard last year with its famous Bum Bum Cream. The product hit cult status quick smart and was followed by a range of similarly scented products. I was worried that a scent everyone seems to love might fall short, but I can tell you categorically, it smells damn good.  Its notes are pistachio, salted caramel, jasmine and sandalwood which combine to form a magical smell. Beyond the ridiculously good scent, it’s a winner in practice as it actually leaves skin feeling moisturised.

Why I like it

The ingredients play a key role in allowing the product to lather really well, while still keeping the skin feeling fresh and nourished. The gel is enriched with moisture-replenishing cupuaçu butter, acai and hydrating coconut oil to leave the skin ultra soft. It’s just simple and easy to use while giving you everything you would hope from a shower gel.

Areas for improvement

I only have one area for improvement, and it’s the price. $36 for a shower gel is slightly expensive, but it’s so good I’m willing to pay.
