How it feels/smells/looks

This is a majorly underrated product! I cannot believe no one is talking about it. It’s genuinely fantastic – you’ve got four colours to choose from which not only makes the palette versatile but also great for a range of skin tones. The formula is typical of Urban Decay’s high-quality powders – smooth, buttery, lightweight and a joy to apply to the skin. All shades are glitter free and once applied, leaves the most gorgeous touch of bling without being chunky or showing any texture. It’ll be my new day, night and every occasion highlighter – just SO good.

Why I like it

I first discovered this palette on a photoshoot. I saw one of the models’ highlighter and was like ‘wow what highlighter are you using?!’ The makeup artist’s answer was, of course, this palette. Why I like it is simple. It blends seamlessly into the skin – you can control just how much bling you want, and it adds the perfect sheen and glow.  The most similar highlighter I have used would have to be the cult classic, TheBalm Mary-Lou Manizer. I’m in shock that no one is raving about this palette like they still do with Mary-Lou. It’s also a great option for a holiday – it comes with a giant mirror, and the packaging is nice and sturdy to protect from breakage. And as your tan develops, you’ll still have a perfect highlighter option.

Areas for improvement

I’ve got nothing. If you can’t tell, I love it and plan to use it for a long time. Usually I would criticise the colour options, but honestly, you’ve got a pink, bronze, champagne and silver/white option, so all bases are covered. The one downside, is that it’s limited edition, so run, don’t walk.
