How it feels/smells/looks

Let’s start off by talking about the packaging. It’s really GOOD. The travel pictures all over it make me feel even worse about being the only Australian not in Europe right now, but it definitely gives you a gist of the story – this palette is made for any destination. When I first saw images of the palette, I thought it would be too wild for my conservative warm-toned loving self, but upon closer inspection, the tones are very wearable and very versatile.

Why I like it

The biggest reason I enjoy this palette is that it’s actually something DIFFERENT. The Born to Run palette has a nice variety across 20 different shades. There’s a couple of obligatory warm shades along with a beautiful gold and dark brown, BUT you also have some really pretty blues/greens. There are also some really nice purple/pink tones which are not outrageous and can be used for a variety of looks from day to night.

Finally, the palette also ticks some major boxes, like incorporating a light highlighting shade and a really dark colour.  The other big winner for this palette is the Urban Decay formula. If you don’t have one of the brand’s palettes already in your collection, they are creamy, blendable and unique and for the price point. You won’t find a better formula in the market!

Lastly, the mirror, A+, love it.

Areas for improvement

Urban Decay, why do you continually release these REALLY good limited-edition products? I love this palette as I feel like there are so many looks you can create with such an assortment of colours.
