It’s official.

In another step forward for the fight against animal testing, Dove has officially been cruelty-free certified by PETA.

The brand has been using alternative testing methods for over 30 years, so the only change to your favourite products should be the addition of a PETA logo to the packaging.

Official recognition of Dove’s cruelty-free status coincides with its parent company, Unilever, pledging support to the Humane Society International’s #BeCrueltyFree campaign.

Together, Unilever and HSI plan to eliminate animal testing across the world within five years.
