Role Description
Brie Leon is a considered everyday accessories brand based in Sydney.
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join our team. This exciting role focuses on enhancing the brand’s exposure and engagement while maintaining our brand values across all channels.
The role is based in our Surry Hills head office, including our new flagship retail store.
Key Responsibilities
MARKETING
- Manage Brie Leon marketing calendar across own channels and wholesale channels.
- Drive brand positioning and exposure through organic channels, ensuring alignment with brand values.
- Coordinate efforts with PR Agencies and manage partnerships.
- Conduct regular brand analysis, including competitor research, trend forecasting, and SWOT analysis.
- Report on marketing and promotional campaign performance, leveraging insights to improve outcomes.
- Manage sustainability initiatives, including accreditations and transparent communication with customers and retailers.
- Collaborate with the eCommerce team on Klaviyo campaign planning, briefing and execution.
- Create campaigns to elevate products, improve sell-through rates, and align with brand identity.
- Future opportunity: Training in digital ads focusing on Google and Meta platforms.
SOCIAL MEDIA
- Develop and execute social media strategies (approved by Creative Director Janine Zafra).
- Manage community interactions by responding to comments and engaging with followers.
- Maintain a content calendar for Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest.
- Create TikTok content.
ECOMMERCE AND DIGITAL SUPPORT
- Collaborate with the eCommerce Manager to execute new season launches and promotional campaigns.
- Manage online assets and content, including imagery and blog copy.
- Contribute to all marketing activities across the business.
PUBLIC RELATIONS
- Manage external PR agencies and maintain regular reporting to the Creative Director.
- Plan and execute campaigns, events, and community activations.
- Build and maintain relationships with stylists, influencers, and industry professionals.
- Develop a database of influencers and manage a gifting schedule for each collection.
- Identify placement opportunities in media, collaborations, and activations.
CONTENT CREATION
- Assist with all direct-to-consumer copy, including website pages, emails, and social media.
- Write creative copy for collections, including stories and product descriptions.
- Support the wholesale channel with marketing materials such as campaign imagery and announcements.
- Assist the digital team with SEO strategy and implementation to boost customer acquisition.
- Coordinate and execute content creation for use across digital and organic channels.
