ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Retail Associate to join our team at our Fitzroy store. With a reputation for quality, craftsmanship, and exceptional customer service, Denimsmith aims to create memorable shopping experiences while sharing our love for denim with our clients. Once you join our team, we will empower you to lead and to embrace personal development and independence.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in retail.
- Excellent at Shopify and Canva.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite, written and verbal communication.
- A proactive, self-motivated individual who thrives under pressure and meets deadlines.
- Knowledgeable about current fashion trends and styling.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekend shifts.
- Based in Melbourne, driving licence needed on occasion.
- Immediate start available – Contract 6 Months.
- Between 3 – 4 days per week guaranteed.
- Needs to be flexible to work weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming, enjoyable shopping experience
- A strong work ethic and sales intelligence, remaining organised and methodically prioritising workload to meet sales target
- Assist with both in-store and online sales, including dispatching orders
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store
- Handle customer inquiries through phone, email, and other communication channels
- Manage product upload, stock inventory and ensure products are well-presented
- Support the team with day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing duties
- Offer styling advice and share product knowledge to enhance the customer experience

10:00 am – 6:00 pm (Weekdays)
10:00 am – 5:00 pm (Weekends)
