Key Responsibilities
- Maintain an elevated and innovative online presence through exceptional ecommerce design and optimised UX.
- Translate seasonal campaigns and brand communication into engaging digital solutions across ajeworld.com and all ecommerce touchpoints.
- Design elevated and effective site experiences with an editorial approach.
- Partner with the eCommerce Manager to brief and communicate functionality/strategy to external developers.
- Contribute to the design system and style guide, ensuring consistency across all digital marketing assets.
- Collaborate with CRM and email teams on EDM concepts and designs that drive engagement and CTR.
- Design content and layouts for social media platforms including Instagram and Facebook.
- Create and execute high-quality assets for social, paid media, newsletters, and performance channels.
- Develop compelling content for Instagram Stories, organic feeds, and digital campaigns.
- Design and produce video, motion graphics, gifs, and clips for ecommerce and social channels.
- Support PR with press pack, press release, and event invitation design.
- Create marketing materials for retail including POS, in-store signage, packaging, and seasonal campaigns.
- Deliver exceptional domestic and international collateral such as lookbooks, showrooms, order books, and briefing booklets.
- Create internal documents such as brand guidelines, seasonal briefings, and training materials.
- Assist in concept development and production of branded packaging and stationery.
- Design seasonal packaging moments (Christmas, Mother’s Day, etc.) for both in-store and online.
- Propose creative ‘surprise and delight’ packaging concepts for customers.
- Assist with pre- and post-production, including retouching, resizing, and artwork finalisation.
- Oversee image editing processes with accuracy and brand consistency.
KEY SKILLS
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably for premium fashion or lifestyle brands
- Strong knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, FinalCut/Premiere Pro/Davinci Resolve.
- A basic understanding of Figma is a plus
- Experience in motion image design and the creation of (moving image) social media creative content
- Eye for detail and strong visual understanding of brand DNA
- Ability to organise and prioritize workload to meet several deadlines at the same time
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills
- A track record of delivering results against marketing, communication and digital expectations
- Experience in a fast-paced, high traffic, creative work environment
- Excellent problem-solving skill
- A positive & collaborative attitude; willingness to bring the very best to the team
- Always up to date on digital design trends and new developments within UI design
- Good technical understanding of site development, connected to digital and UI design
- Strong foundation in typography and experience with image layout and grids
- Previous experience producing large volumes of digital assets, including motion graphics and Animation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to articulate creative ideas and briefs
