Role Description
Join Obus as our Digital Designer (Marketing) and bring your creativity to an independent, ethical fashion brand. This is a dynamic, multi-faceted role where no two days are the same! We’re looking for a designer with a background in marketing for a part time role, 3 days a week (12 month maternity leave position) commencing February 2025.
Obus is a Melbourne based women’s fashion label founded by Creative Director Kylie Zerbst. For 20 years Kylie and her team have produced many coveted collections, each one thoughtfully designed and curated to form a wardrobe of must-have styles. We are a collaborative, hardworking team and are looking for someone special to join us. In this part time position you’ll work within a tight knit team to design marketing for our product online & instore!
Key Responsibilities
- EDM design: create eye catching email campaigns that engage and inspire. Managing & sending EDMS through Klaviyo. Reporting on results & develop key marketing strategy.
- Website & Signage Design: design impactful web assets and in-store signage to align with our brand story. Utilising Shopify to manage website layout, sale roll out & online user experience.
- Photo Editing: enhance imagery & edit to reflect Obus’s distinct aesthetic.
- Ad Creation: develop compelling advertisements for various digital platforms across Google Adds & Meta.
- Social Media Assets: Produce visuals for Instagram, Facebook and beyond to captivate our online audience.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- 3+ years experience in a similar role
- Qualifications in Graphic Design/Marketing
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Great time management skills
- strong attention to detail & design fundamentals
- Proficient knowledge of Adobe Suite and Shopify
- Experience with Klaviyo is highly desirable
