Role Description
Veronika Maine is entering a new chapter and with it comes an exciting opportunity to join our Women’s RTW team as a Designer. We’re looking for a creative thinker with strong technical capability, a refined eye for detail, and a passion for delivering innovative, wearable designs that are distinctly Veronika Maine.
Key Responsibilities
- Report directly to the brand’s newly appointed Design Director to help establish and evolve a unique and contemporary design handwriting.
- Contribute to the creation of sophisticated, modern, and versatile seasonal collections.
- Manage the end-to-end design process, from concept development through to production handover.
- Conduct trend research and translate insights into commercially relevant, brand-aligned designs.
- Collaborate with the broader Design, Atelier, Production, and Technical teams to bring concepts to life in innovative and wearable ways.
- Select fabrics, trims, and detailing that enhance both the aesthetic and functionality of the garments.
- Ensure all designs meet Veronika Maine’s standards of quality, fit, and craftsmanship.
KEY SKILLS
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a fashion design role, ideally within a premium or contemporary brand.
- A strong folio showcasing creativity, innovation, and commercial sensibility.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Solid garment construction knowledge and an understanding of fit and pattern making.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills – you’ll work closely across multiple departments.
- A refined eye for proportion, silhouette, and detail.
