Role Description
This role is an incredible opportunity to take full ownership of the ordering engine that powers MECCA’s Loyalty program – Beauty Loop.
As a Junior Planner – Beauty Loop, you will sit at the centre of MECCA’s sampling and always on reward campaign operations, leading the coordination of thousands of samples to support Australia’s number one loyalty program. With full accountability for the end-to-end ordering process across multiple campaign types, you will partner cross-functionally with Brands, Buying, Finance, Transport and Planning to ensure every reward campaign lands on time, in full and to plan.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the ordering and coordination of all samples and gratis items across Beauty Loop and Online check out sampling.
- Partner with internal teams [Buying, Brands, Finance, Planning and Transport] to secure stock commitments, raise purchase orders, manage deliveries and ensure on-time campaign execution
- Own the SKU set up and product master data of our samples SKUs in our MRP systems (Navision).
- Maintain and manage key operational tools including the Sample Category Tracker, replenishment models and Excel-based planning tools.
- Monitor stock gaps and shipment risks, proactively escalating and resolving issues to protect campaign delivery.
- Own the always on campaigns end-to-end
- Coordinate online sampling stock usage and pacing, ensuring program stability across AU and NZ warehouses.
- Ensure data integrity across systems [Navision, WMS, POS], while supporting campaign readiness through robust planning and reporting.
KEY SKILLS
- Proven experience in supply chain, operations or merchandise planning, preferably in a retail or FMCG environment.
- Strong system and data management skills with high attention to detail [experience with Navision or MRP systems a plus].
- Confidence managing complex processes, timelines and volumes with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
- High-level Excel proficiency and a passion for process, planning and cross-functional collaboration.
- A love of operational detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, campaign-driven environment.
