We’re on the hunt for a sharp, commercially-minded Merchandise Planner to drive performance across our wholesale key accounts. ole will act as a trusted advisor to the Wholesale Key Account teams (Merchandise & Sales) to support wholesale key account strategy and vision. This position is responsible for working with Sales, Order Management, and Inventory management to translate strategic direction & line productivity expectations to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Key Account Managers (KAMs) to support style productivity targets.
- Collaborate with Commercial, Planning and Finance Teams to validate top-down targets.
- Roll-up and summarise bottom-up sales & inventory PC9 plan for key accounts.
- Manage reconciliation between bottom-up plans and targets.
- Work with inventory management to ensure consistent in-season shipments and stock demand accuracy.
- Partner with Merchandising team to manage the product lifecycle.
- Conduct quantitative analysis and insights to optimize line profitability and identify risks.
- Providing input to the development of wholesale planning reporting and analytics activities to ensure account productivity and inventory investment.
- Manage and own the Core Forecasting Tool and optimise forecasts in conjunction with KAMs.
- Review business performance weekly with Key accounts to identify opportunities and threats
- Manage sizing and sizing accuracy for customer accounts.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, WE REQUIRE
- 5+ years in merchandise planning (apparel or FMCG preferred).
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data and trends.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- High Excel proficiency (SAS, SAP or similar planning tools are a bonus!).
- Detail-oriented, deadline-savvy and agile in a fast-paced environment.
