Role Description
We are seeking a proactive, collaborative, highly organised and experienced Marketing Manager to join our team at ELK. In this executional role, you’ll work closely with our Brand Director and Co-Founder to develop and deliver the Marketing Plan, ensuring all activity is on brand, on budget, and drives engaged consumers to our trading channels. You’ll be responsible for executing campaigns, delivering creative assets, and driving customer, sales, and brand growth through considered marketing activity across the entire ELK business.
This is a full-time role based in our Preston office in Melbourne. We are unable to consider sponsorship or remote work for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute an integrated marketing calendar to drive brand awareness and commercial growth
- Lead campaign ideation and storytelling that showcases product, design, and sustainability
- Collaborate with eCommerce, retail, and wholesale teams to optimise conversion, drive traffic, and improve retention
- Oversee influencer and content partnerships to extend brand reach and increase sales
- Manage partnerships, agencies, PR activity, events, and community engagement initiatives
- Plan and execute digital and paid media campaigns across social, email, SEO/SEM
- Establish and report on KPIs, analyse performance data, and optimise campaigns for ROI
- Lead and develop a small team, fostering a culture of collaboration, curiosity, and accountability
- Maintain and elevate ELK’s brand tone, visual identity, and storytelling across all touchpoints
- Uphold and promote ELK’s ethical and sustainability commitments
KEY SKILLS
- At least 7+ years’ experience in marketing (fashion, retail, beauty, lifestyle experience highly regarded)
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field
- Proven experience managing multi-channel marketing campaigns from concept to execution
- Strong understanding of digital platforms, CRM systems, analytics, and reporting tools (Meta, Google Analytics, etc.)
- Experience managing teams, contractors, agencies, budgets, and multiple projects
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and creative judgment skills
- Strong attention to detail, organisation, time management, and problem-solving ability
- You are a commercially minded, strategic, and highly executional marketer with a passion for ethical fashion and sustainability
