Role Description

Saint Valentine Jewellery is seeking an experienced, and dynamic individual to lead our marketing initiatives and strengthen our brand presence across all channels. Reporting to the Creative Director, the Marketing Manager will own the marketing strategy, calendar, and execution across digital, retail, and wholesale, ensuring every customer touchpoint reflects the Saint Valentine brand with consistency, clarity, and impact while leading a team of 3+ direct reports.

In this role, you will develop and execute marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. You will lead campaign planning, performance marketing, and brand storytelling, working cross-functionally with creative, ecommerce, retail, and external partners to deliver commercially impactful outcomes, ensuring Saint Valentine Jewellery remains a distinctive, desirable, and leading brand in the Australian jewellery market.

Key Responsibilities

MARKETING STRATEGY AND BRAND GROWTH

  • Own and lead the company’s marketing strategy, aligned with business objectives and long-term brand growth.
  • Build, protect, and elevate brand equity, creating a strong emotional connection with customers.
  • Define and evolve brand positioning, voice, and tone to maintain a premium, consistent presence.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen brand credibility, visibility, and relevance through storytelling, partnerships, and strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure brand consistency and excellence across all customer touchpoints.

 

CAMPAIGN, CONTENT AND CHANNEL LEADERSHIP

  • Own the marketing calendar for brand campaigns, product launches, promotions, and key trading periods.
  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of integrated campaigns across digital, retail, and wholesale channels.
  • Develop and own content strategy across social media, email, website, and in-store communications.
  • Drive a high-performing email marketing program in collaboration with the Graphic Designer
  • Partner with the Ecommerce Manager to align campaigns with onsite performance and conversion goals.
  • Monitor, report, and optimise campaign performance weekly and monthly, using data and insights to inform improvements.

 

COMMUNITY, PR AND PARTNERSHIPS

  • Build and grow a highly engaged brand community through events, activations, collaborations, and partnerships.
  • Develop and execute PR strategy to increase brand awareness, credibility, and cultural relevance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media, influencers, and industry partners.
  • Draft and distribute press releases, media kits, and brand stories.
  • Manage brand events and track PR impact, media coverage, and brand sentiment.

 

CUSTOMER, DATA AND PERFORMANCE

  • Own customer segmentation and audience strategy to inform messaging, channel selection, and personalised marketing.
  • Leverage customer insights, market trends, and performance data to prioritise initiatives and optimise effectiveness.
  • Manage marketing budgets, forecasting, and ROI tracking with commercial discipline.

 

BRAND EXECUTION

  • Partner with internal creative team and external agencies to deliver innovative, on-brand creative assets.
  • Ensure all marketing outputs meet a high standard of creative and brand excellence.
  • Produce clear, structured briefs for internal and external partners, ensuring alignment with strategy and objectives.

 

TEAM LEADERSHIP AND CROSS FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the marketing team, including Senior Graphic Designer, Social Media Executive, Digital Design Assistant identifying and nurturing growth opportunities within existing team members.

  • Provide clear direction, coaching, and feedback to drive team performance and capability development.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Ecommerce, Retail, and Wholesale teams to deliver integrated, commercially effective campaigns.
  • Work closely with the Creative Director to maintain alignment between brand vision and execution.

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 3 years experience in marketing in jewellery, fashion or premium lifestyle brands.
  • Proven experience and success with email marketing, PR & partnerships.
  • Strong experience using customer data and segmentation to drive targeted marketing and improved performance.
  • Experience in omni-channel retail businesses.
  • High proficiency with Klaviyo and Google Suite.
  • Strong reporting capability with a high level of accuracy and commercial insight.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and leadership skills, with the ability to brief clearly and effectively across teams and external partners.
  • High-level copywriting skills, with the ability to adapt and elevate brand voice across channels.
  • Creative, strategic thinker with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Highly organised with strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Comfort working in a scaling business with evolving processes.
