Role Description
Based in our Support Office in Malvern, we have a fantastic new opportunity for an experienced Production Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with the product and planning teams, you’ll ensure the seamless and timely delivery of our collections. This role is ideal for a motivated and passionate individual ready to make a meaningful impact. Your strong organisational skills and proactive mindset will play a vital part in shaping the ongoing success and growth of the Perri Cutten brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the Development and Production Critical Path to ensure that all production targets and deadlines are met without compromising quality
- Updating and overseeing production schedules for local and offshore suppliers
- Collaborate with designers to procure quality raw materials that uphold the Perri Cutten standard
- Ensure materials are purchased and produced on time
- Negotiating with suppliers to meet target pricing and volume requirements
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and factories
- Raising purchase orders and allocating costs to products
- Tracking samples, managing deliveries, and evaluating supplier performance
- Preparing for weekly design WIP meetings with cross-functional teams
- Partnering with the Planning team to ensure purchase orders align with Open-to-Buy plans
- Collaborating with the DC to manage delivery allocations and fabric stock liabilities
- Assist the Customer Service team with the returns and repairs process, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Supporting and mentoring assistants and interns in production-related tasks
KEY SKILLS
- Relevant tertiary or related qualifications
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a Production Coordination role (preferably in fashion or textiles)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with suppliers and stakeholders
- Proven ability to negotiate effectively and build lasting supplier relationships
- Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to manage challenges and changes in the production process
- Strong attention to detail
- A positive and proactive ‘can do’ attitude
- Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal to team members at all levels
- Proven ability to take ownership and demonstrate initiative
- Ability to effectively manage challenging or pressured situations
