Key Responsibilities
- Create Stories That Inspire: Develop and implement messaging strategies that echo MECCA’s bold vision, values, purpose, and strategy.
- Make Digital Shine: Enhance our digital platforms to keep our store teams connected, informed, and engaged no matter where they are.
- Connect to Different Audiences: Create compelling, tailored content for different audiences, including frontline team members, store leadership, and Support Centre.
- Lead Events with Flair: Develop and execute event strategies that support communication goals and create memorable moments for our store teams.
- Incident Management: Manage internal and external communications to protect brand reputation and maintain team morale.
- Drive for Results: Regularly review and refine communication strategies based on feedback and channel performance.
- Innovate and Influence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to adapt communication strategies.
KEY SKILLS
- A bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field is highly desired.
- Experience in internal communications or internal marketing – preferably within retail, beauty, or similar service-based industries (global experience is a bonus).
- Demonstrated success building credibility with senior leaders and crafting customer-centric communications.
- Experience in designing and implementing communication strategies and events for large teams, with a hands-on approach when needed.
- Experience with digital communication platforms and familiarity with AI tools.
- Passionate about the beauty industry and dedicated to diversity, education, and empowerment.
