Mastering the art of office dressing.

For most of us, work takes up a large part of our lives (and wardrobes). We’re at the office for the majority of the week and most of the day, which ultimately adds up to a lot of outfits.

On a good day, office dressing can really make you feel like you have your shit together. But every so often, there’ll come a morning when you simply can’t come up with an inspiring, office-appropriate outfit. On those days, we turn to TikTok.

For more fashion news, shoots, articles and features, head to our Fashion section.

Aside from being a melting pot of beauty fads, deep dives and recipes, the social media app really shines when it comes to its OOTD videos (that’s ‘outfit of the day’, for the uninitiated). Of these, the workwear subcategory is our favourite.

There’s a range of Australian and New Zealand creators known for their knack for corporate styling. Below, we’ve rounded up 11 of our favourite accounts to follow so you can save videos for future reference (or frantically search minutes before you’re meant to leave the house).

Lauren Brodie

@frivolousfashion office fits with personality 💻☕️♥️ 🏷️ #styleinspo #fashion101 #midsizefashion #size12 #curvyfashion #corporatefashion #officefashion #stylingtips ♬ original sound – elbee

We’ve been fans of Lauren Brodie’s style ever since we profiled her in our series, Hey, I Like Your Style! last year. Her everyday style is eclectic, colourful and full of texture, while still feeling office-appropriate. As a mid-size girlie, Lauren’s approach to dressing is all about utilising the pieces in your closet, wearing what makes you feel good and supporting local Australian and New Zealand-based labels (including Kowtow, Katharina Lou, Variety Hour and Maggie Marilyn).

Nicki Han’s style is a testament to the power of investing in a boxy shirt, slouchy trousers and a textured  work bag. Though her outfits often slant towards monochrome, she often adds a piece of clothing or an accessory to break up the look (like a bright blue shirt or shirred, textured top).
