Adidas has reissued its classic 1970s Americana silhouette

Throwing it back to ’74.
Adidas is reissuing its iconic Americana sneaker, a style first released back in 1974. Originally intended for the court, this contemporary remake is the ideal everyday sneaker.
Both the Hi and Low models of the reissue opt for a clean and simple look. The timeless design features a primarily cloud white canvas upper, paired with leather panels of the same shade.
An off-grey suede toe cap softens the contrast of ‘Core Black’ bannered text running along the sides. In black and red, ‘The Americana’ basketball logo is branded on the tongue and the insole.
Along with a discoloured sole for a vintage accent, the sneakers are completed by a monochrome trim tracing the heel below the collar in blue for the Hi and glory red for the Low. Your new go-to sneaker is available from tomorrow, head to the Adidas website to nab yourself a pair.
