Does this mean closing down sales?

adidas is making moves to close a number of its retail stores in coming years.

The brand’s chief executive, Kasper Rorsted, told Financial Times that “over time, [adidas] will have fewer stores, but they will be better.”

Currently, there are over 2,500 brick-and-mortar adidas locations worldwide. But focus is shifting off the streets and onto online, with Rorsted claiming “our website is the most important store we have in the world.”

There’s no word yet as to which stores will be closing their doors, so keep your eyes peeled.
