New Balance reinvents its most iconic Dad Sneaker

Return of a legend.
It’s undeniable that the ‘Dad Sneaker’ is having a major moment. And in an ode to sneaker history, New Balance has dropped an updated version of the legendary MADE 990 – the original Dad Sneaker.
It’s the latest instalment in the Made in the USA collection, which is all about American craftsmanship and manufacturing.
The 990v4 retains all the best bits of the original silhouette, with added improvements like a built-in lace keeper and enhanced breathability. First released in 1982 as a performance shoe, the style has been around for over three decades and represents the best quality, craftsmanship and performance the brand has to offer.
MADE 990v4 will be available online and at New Balance store at Melbourne Central, Chadstone Shopping Centre and Pitt Street Sydney for $300.
