Alexa Chung has designed a line of sneakers for Superga

Superga has tapped cool girl Alexa Chung for its latest campaign.

The Los Angeles shoot debuts the fresh new sneaker line she’s designed for the brand.

Following a successful collaboration in 2011, the team up sees the classic Superga 2750 mid cut and mule reinvented with Alexa’s signature style.

The capsule uses patent leather, satin and cotton for the uppers, and you can expect sky blue, off-white and burgundy colourways.

In a statement, Alexa spoke on her love for the brand: “My mother wore Supergas when I was growing up, so for me they’ve always been a classic shoe and something I have incorporated into my daily wardrobe for years now.”

“It has been wonderful to return to this brand as a designer working on a collaboration for this season… It feels a lot like coming home.”

If you want to nab a pair of Alexa-designed kicks, the range is now available online and will land in-stores at selected David Jones and Hype DC stores from September.
