ASOS released a belt that’s literally just a denim waistband

It’s called fashion.

In the latest episode of stupid denim trends, ASOS has released a ‘belt’ that is literally just the waistband of an old pair of jeans.

Dubbed ‘limited-edition’, the Weekday Denim Waistband sits pretty close to thong jeans on the scale of things you don’t need in your life.

Made from 100 per cent cotton, it features a raw hem and button fastening for an ‘unfinished look’. But surprisingly, it’s not the first denim waistband to hit the market. Earlier this year, LA-based streetwear label Unravel Project debuted a slightly more expensive version that came with its own pockets.
