Balmain teams up with Cara Delevingne on a handbag collection

It’s all about attitude.

Balmain has collaborated with Cara Delevingne for its latest collection of handbags.

Delevingne is a long-time friend of the label’s creative director, Olivier Rousteing. In a statement about the release, Rousteing calls the star “the embodiment of the Balmain rebelle”.

“Cara reflects the strong and confident attitude of the women of my generation,” he says. “Women who are not content to simply push back – instead they revel in pushing forward (while making sure to push every single button along the way).”

This class of high-fashion rebel serves as inspiration for the new range, which features three distinct styles. Dubbed the BBag, Romeo and Twist, they each feature quilted black leather, studded detailing and heavy gold hardware.
