Alexander Wang is launching jewellery

Coming very, very soon.

Oh Mr Wang. Creator of all that is coveted, blower of all our bank accounts. How wonderful it is to see that you have given us yet another reason to kiss our savings goodbye.

And so we say hello to Alexander Wang’s debut jewellery line.

Following previews on his Spring 2016 collection runway, the line is a jewellery range that’s tougher than your average.

Or, as Wang put it, “the opposite of precious.”

It’s inspired by the industrial bike chain and features three core items: a lock-hinge cuff, a double-lock necklace and three-link earrings. Produced in Italy, the chain pieces are made from brass and plated with either palladium or 24-karat gold.

It works to lend the tough designs a more delicate element. It also works to up the price. Pieces start at $295 USD for the earrings and work up to $525 USD for the necklace.

According to WWD, we can expect to get our hands on the from alexanderwang.com and in Alexander Wang stores mid December. Which is any day now, really.

The line will then expand to Net-a-Porter, Joyce HK and Mytheresa.com in March.
