Fragment Design x Nike Roshe LD-1000 SP Dark Navy
Nike teams up with Fragment Design’s Hiroshi Fujiwara to release a brand new Roshe LD-1000.
The shoe’s clean, minimalist silhouette clearly reflects Fujiwara’s influences, who having just finished off work on the Tennis Classic and Court collections, is no stranger to collaborating with Nike.
Despite falling under the iconic LD-1000 umbrella, the new sneaker streams across various functional and design aesthetics to bring a fresh take to Nike’s original design. The hybrid sneaker seamlessly blends upper elements of Nike’s LD 1000 and Cortez models with the Roshe Run NM midsole unit. Whilst mixing the this many features together might sound a bit messy, the result is a surprisingly simple and cohesive unit.Predominantly constituted from mesh and suede, the Dark Navy Roshe LD-1000 features white laces and leather panelling alongside a nylon tongue and subtle Fragment Design branding along the sole.
Due for an October 23rd release, you can check out the Roshe LD-1000 at NikeLab.
