McQ by Alexander McQueen Spring ’15
So much yes.
In the midst of an oversaturation of ‘Spring 2015’, McQ by Alexander McQueen’s latest offering has got our attention.
The label’s Spring 2015 lookbook has dropped and it is a vast mix of all things good. McQ delivers foil outerwear, ribbed knits, heavy tartan, textural prints, sheer panelling and grommet detailing, with fabrics that play on volume and structure. But despite it’s numerous elements, the collection is entirely cohesive. Each look flows smoothly from the previous, and underlying it all is a subtle punky edge- that which we have come to expect from all things McQueen.
Overall it is considered, interesting and extremely well executed. Insert applause emoji here.
