Hot off the press: How we celebrated Fashion Journal’s print relaunch

We’re back!

After a nearly five year hiatus, we’re excited to bring you Fashion Journal back in print. Issue 195 is out this week, with thousands of copies distributed for free across Melbourne and Sydney in retail spaces, salons, cafes and bars we hope you frequent and stumble upon.

Leading up to a print deadline is always hectic and it’s safe to say last week our small Brunswick-based team put blood, sweat and tears into bringing this special relaunch issue to life. After many late nights debating covers and commas, on Friday we finally got to see it: a van stacked with our magazines, red-hot off the press from our Melbourne-based printers.

To celebrate, we invited the talented contributors – writers, photographers, models, stylists, producers and designers – who worked on this issue down to our local pub for champagne, hot chippies and a first look at our comeback issue.
