Converse and CLOT collaborate on a new One Star
East meets West.
Hong Kong-based retailer CLOT has collaborated with some pretty iconic brands, including Coca-Cola, Disney and Converse.
That last relationship’s been long-standing and mighty fruitful, first kicking off in 2012. Now, CLOT and Converse are back at it again, with a special release of the One Star, inspired by Tai Chi and CLOT’s pop-culture roots.
The sneaker’s been given a fuzzy update, achieved by the use of hairy suede (yep, that’s a thing). An off white collar and black upper creates a cohesion between the shoe and the accompanying zen Chinese symbols, which are printed on the midsole. These symbols signify serenity and Confucian wisdom.
The new Converse x CLOT One Star launches on September 14 and is available at Highs and Lows, Supply Store, Up There Store and online.
