Louboutin drops new ‘Nudes’ collection
We don’t need to tell you why this is a good thing.
Christian Louboutin won’t listen when you describe ‘nude’ as a pale skin tone.
Following his 2013 Nudes collection which featured stilettos in a spectrum of different skin tones, the designer has dropped a range of flats using the same concept.
The line takes Louboutin’s SS16 Solasofia ballet flat and covers it in seven nude hues, aiming to meet a range of skin tones.
We don’t need to tell you why this is a good thing. And thankfully, the trend is catching on. Just last week, activewear company Björn Borg released a line of underwear in six shades of nude.
Made from a buttery napa leather, the shoe retails at $595 USD.
Hopefully this is just the beginning when it comes to inclusive fashion.
