Nike is now letting you play designer and customise the Cortez

Getting personal.

If you’ve been eyeing off a pair of Nike Cortez sneakers, now’s the time to buy.

For a limited time, Nike is allowing you to customise the shoe of the moment.

Using the popular Nike iD service, customers can add their own personal touch to the silhouette. The update allows you to pick the finishes and materials, with customisable uppers, outsole colours and text on the heel tab.

First released back in 1972, the Cortez was Nike’s original running shoe. Technology has since advanced, but the silhouette remains as relevant as ever.

To start playing designer, head to Nike’s website.
