Rodarte has collabed with & Other Stories on a collection and it is everything

Can we?

Get ready for the collaboration of the season.

Rodarte has today released images of its whole collection with & Other Stories, before the range hits stores next Thursday.

The ingenious designers behind Rodarte, Laura and Kate Mulleavy, drew inspiration from past city-based collections from & Other Stories and dedicated this one to their hometown, Los Angeles. The colour palette reflects the LA desert with camels, nudes and gold, as well as the city’s nightlife with black, silver and crystal embellished cardigans. You’ll also find denim jackets lined with mohair, A-line miniskirts patched in different leather  and velvet bralettes. Slay.

In a press release, the Mulleavys said:

“We wanted to create a collection that represents the textures of a California lifestyle. The clothes should easily transition from day to night and transform to one’s personal style and individuality. For us, it was important to create go-to staples for one’s wardrobe: a great jacket, dress, skirt, blouse, sweater, shoes and a set of jewelry that are completely versatile,”

It’s not the first time & Other Stories has teamed up with big name designers – in the past it has worked with Rachel Antonoff and Clare Vivier –but we’ve never before been this excited about velvet trousers, so this collaboration is going to seriously take off.

Pencil in the date ladies, March 17. Prices range from $39 to $425 (US) which means even we broke bitches will be able to covet this seriously fab collection.
