The ultimate ’90s supermodel squad is fronting Balmain’s new campaign

Crawford. Schiffer. Turlington.

Yeeeeeessss Balmain.

As the cool young Insta celebs continue to dominate the high-fash campaigns, Balmain has taken it old school in a refreshing move. The label has tapped the all-time greatest supermodels ever to front its latest campaign.

Think Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer.

The campaign features a lot of upward head tilts (presumably because their skin ain’t as taught as it once was), but proves that these icons have stillll got it.

Balmain creative director, Olivier Roustieng, gave a glowing review of the ladies, even going so far as to throw partial shade at the current squad of supermodels. 

“I felt like I was dreaming as I was watching the photo shoot, because I knew it was going to be something iconic that I would never forget. You realize working with them, it’s another way than working with the models of today. They know so much about themselves. Their career is so strong. They know their bodies so well. They move at the same time that the camera is moving,” he said.
