Moschino’s new campaign features Powerpuff Girls and a carwash
And still somehow works?
Oh how we praise the lunacy of Jeremy Scott.
The creative director of Moschino has delivered again for the label’s latest campaign, ‘Carwash Couture’, which sees Joan Smalls, Fei Fei Sun, Lexi Boling and Maartje Verhoef look absolutely smashing. They rock construction wear like no tradie you’ve ever seen.
Throughout the campaign images is a mishmash of different styles and influences as spotted in the Moschino Spring show. It’s like a fun game of I Spy. See if you can spot the following:
- Fluffy dice
- Witches Hat
- Blossom the Powerpuff Girl
- Spanner bracelet
- Big Bird dress
And it all somehow works cohesively? Perhaps we can thank the fine work of Steven Meisel and stylist Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele for this.
As for their release, the images were debuted on Scott’s own Instagram early this morning and soon after shared on Moschino’s Insta.
