There’s going to be a runway at Luna Park next weekend

Supporting ethical manufacturing.

Next Saturday will see Luna Park transform, hosting a vibrant runway of 12 independent labels as part of Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival.

The Fashion Advocate Runway will bring together an all-Australian lineup, selected by The Fashion Advocate editor, Claire Goldsworthy. The aim is to support ethical manufacturing and showcase the positive impacts of local fashion.

“I’ve always had a conscious mind when it comes to fashion and consumption… it’s what I dedicate every day to,” says Claire.

“It’s just not good enough to accept unethical fashion anymore. Fast fashion is destroying the earth and impacting humanity, and I’m on a mission to change that.”

Mhoo Mhoo, Blushed By Teagan Jacobs, Fool and Cameron & James are among the event’s featured designers.
