This designer is making underwear for people in transition

Comfort knows no gender boundaries.

Young multimedia artist, Peregrine Honig, is proving comfort bears no boundaries with her undergarment line for people in transition.

Coining the term ‘middlewear’, Honig is the co-founder of agender apparel brand, All is Fair in Love and Wear.

She told i-D, “it doesn’t matter what your gender is, if you’re uncomfortable – if your bra is loose or your underwear is too tight – you’re going to have a crappy day.” PREACH SISTAH.

Showing wisdom beyond her 22 years, the designer kickstarted a campaign to fund the brand. The outcome of this fashion-forward idea is an innovative line of gender-fluid basics.

Inspired by a friend going through transition, Honig has broken down walls in the garment market, developing a truly inclusive brand which is undefined by gender.
