Zayn Malik is about to become a Versace designer
And we are HERE for it.
In case you haven’t heard, our favourite 1D member-turned-solo artist, Zayn Malik, will be designing for Versace.
Teaming up with Donatella herself, Zayn will be creating a capsule collection for both men and women.
Zayn x Versus will be designed under Versus, the Italian fashion house’s diffusion line. He’ll be taking over the creative reigns at Versus for this collection, after creative director Anthony Vaccarello moved on to Saint Laurent this year.
“Versus is everything that the Versace line is not. It is loud, it is rebellious — I don’t want shoppers buying both from Versus and Versace. The houses have different souls,” Donatella told the New York Times.
The collection is said to be dropping in May 2017 and the collab will also see Zayn head up the Versus SS17 campaign in February.
