Somehow we’ve reached mid August, which means that Melbourne Fashion week is lurking right around the corner.
Alongside fresh designs, fashion show attendees can expect to see some beloved designer vintage embedded throughout the runways.
Retailers such as Reina Melbourne and Madam Virtue & Co will be showcasing an offering that includes archival pieces from Yves Saint Laurent, Gucci and yes, Philo-era old Céline.
Iconic Melbourne retailers Shifting Worlds and Slow Waves will also be featuring, so we can expect local names like Dress Up and Verner alongside the likes of Shrimps, Molly Goddard and Maryam Nassir Zadeh.
The runway will encapsulate key trends of past and present, in the realms of womenswear, and both men’s and women’s accessories.
You can head here for the full lineup and to grab your tickets.
