And donates to an LGBTQI+ organisation.

If you thought the Pride-themed releases were over and done with now that we’ve hit July, think again.

IKEA Australia has dropped an update on its iconic FRAKTA shopping bag to show its commitment to helping LGBTQI+ communities.

Called the KVANTING, the bag features rainbow stripes modelled after the pride flag.

To back up this show of support, IKEA will also be donating $20,000 through its Family Donations program to LGBTQI+ health organisation, ACON.

The brand’s People and Culture Manager, Richard Harries, said in a statement, “At IKEA, we believe equality is a human right. We’re committed to making sure everyone – our customers, co-workers, business partners – feel appreciated and valued, no matter their sexual orientation or gender identity.”

You can find the KVANTING in stores now.
