The positive retail news we all need.

In a time where online shopping continues to reign supreme and the pandemic has accelerated the demise of many retail stores, the opening of a new brick-and-mortar store feels particularly noteworthy.

The recent fall of Australia’s international retail hub Tuchuzy has left a hole in the hearts of Australian fashion devotees, one that looked unlikely to repair anytime soon. The boutique was well known for its curated selection of labels and was one of our only easy access points in Australia to many international designers.

Fortunately, Australian retail powerhouse Incu has just announced the opening of a brand-new and permanent Sydney outlet store (yep that’s right… an outlet!). Located in the heart of Rosebery, just around the corner from Aussie designers Zimmermann and Ginger & Smart, the sleek outlet store will be offering up to 60 per cent off on past seasons’ collections.

The new store will carry men’s and women’s apparel, bags, footwear, and accessories from its key labels –  A.P.C., Rag & Bone, Saturdays NYC, Acne Studios, Ganni, Maison Kitsuné and Comme des Garçons are just some of the brands making an appearance.

Established in 2002 by twin brothers Brian and Vincent Wu, Incu has rapidly grown from its flagship store in Sydney and now boasts 13 stores across three states, NSW, VIC and QLD.

The new boutique will embody Incu’s unique, personable and innovative aesthetic, inspired by Brian and Vincent’s love for travel, international designers, and emerging Australian brands, all fused into one signature retail concept. Designed by Akin Atelier, the interior looks distinctively Incu (head to toe raw wood and crisp white lighting).

Incu officially opens its doors on Wednesday, June 24 – perfect timing for the eager post-COVID-19 shoppers.

The Incu Outlet is located at 110 Dunning Avenue, Rosebery, NSW, 2018.
