Iris Apfel is getting her very own fashionable Barbie

It’s Apfel’s world, we’re just living in it.

Look up ‘style’ in the Oxford Dictionary and I’m pretty certain you’ll find an image of Iris Apfel.

Today, the icon has received the Barbie treatment, immortalised with her signature oversized frames, statement jewellery and the green Gucci suit worn on the cover of her latest book. Heck, if I’m still rocking a green Gucci suit at the age of 96, I’d be expecting my own Barbie too.

For fans of Apfel, unfortunately this Barbie is one-of-a-kind and unavailable to purchase. However, Mattel is set to release a ‘Styled By’ Barbie doll later this year, inspired by Apfel and her glorious outfits.

After all, It’s Apfel’s world, we’re just living in it.
