Kathmandu has just become the first brand in the southern hemisphere to receive accreditation from the Fair Labor Association.

This means that along with brands such as Nike and Patagonia, Katmandu has proven that it’s committed to improving the labour standard within its manufacturing.

Just a few of the FLA’s verifications include workplace standards, business and supplier training and responsible purchasing practices.

Katmandu also received an A grade from the Baptist World Aid Australia in this year’s Ethical Fashion report, reflecting the brand’s continued efforts in reducing the risks of slavery and child labour in its supply chains.
